Combine a trifecta of flavors – chocolate, pecans, and boozy bourbon – to create a decadent treat that impresses your friends and family.


  • ½ cup butter (no substitute)
  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup toasted pecan pieces (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp bourbon
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Grease an 8/x pan. Melt butter and chocolate squares in a small pan on the stove. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs, bourbon and vanilla. Stir in flour, nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into a greased pan.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, and serve. For an extra special treat, serve warmed with a scoop of ice cream and drizzled with your favorite Bourbon Cream (such as Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream).
