My summers have an aesthetic – a very strong aesthetic. Jimmy Buffett. Drinks on the patio. Boating on the lake. Farmers markets. Grilling burgers. Smell of freshly cut lawns. Basically the stereotypical summer vibes.
It seemed fitting to combine some of my favorite summer tastes into one summery drink. Bourbon in Paradise combines bourbon with pineapple juice, lime juice, and grenadine. Simple, but packs some great fruity flavors and combines nicely with your bourbon of choice.
Ingredients
3 ounces bourbon 3 ounces pineapple juice 2 tsp lime juice 2 tsp grenadine
Stir together all ingredients in a glass of your choice.
Just like my man Jimmy Buffett likes a cheeseburger in paradise, I love a good bourbon in paradise.
