Fall Cocktail Recipes

With the days growing shorter and the leaves and temperatures beginning to fall, there is no better way to celebrate what many call their favorite season than with some crisp and spicy cocktails.

Fall Old Fashioned (courtesy of Leslee Macpherson at Honeywood Restaurant)

  • 2 oz Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon

  • 2 oz freshly pressed apple cider

  • 6 dashes Woodford Reserve Sassafras & Sorghum Bitters

  • Dehydrated apple slice

Stir ingredients and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with dehydrated apple.

Fall Kentucky Mule (makes 1 serving)

  • 2 oz apple cider

  • 2 oz Kentucky bourbon

  • ½ tsp pure maple syrup

  • 2 oz ginger beer

  • Apple wedge for garnish

Place cider, bourbon and maple syrup in a shaker. Blend well. Pour into a copper mule filled with fresh crushed ice. Add ginger beer. Stir gently. Place an apple wedge on the mug rim as a garnish.
