Kentucky Kiss

When the weather gets hot, you may find yourself reaching for a cocktail as opposed to a bourbon, neat. Here's a great way to beat the heat with all of the tastes of a Kentucky summer.

Kentucky Kiss

2 large strawberries, sliced

½ oz lemon juice

½ oz pure maple syrup

2 oz of your favorite Kentucky bourbon

splash club soda

mint and additional strawberries for garnish

Add strawberries, lemon juice, and maple syrup to an old-fashioned glass. Muddle well.

Add bourbon and fill glass with ice. Stir. Top with a splash of club soda. If desired, garnish with mint and additional sliced strawberries. Enjoy!
